2010 twilight could lead to bigger things.

So everyone is talking about the crazyness that ensued at twilight last night.
According to the salt lake tribune, there were about 40,000 thousand people at twilight to see modest mouse.

What does this say about Salt Lake City? A city that is made fun of because of the domincance the LDS church can have on not only the city, but of course the state.

Let's forget about those things for now and lets' thing of possibilities.

What do we have around us?? lets go counter clockwise starting with Nevada, Arizona (not my favorite state at the moment) New mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and Idaho.

We're at the center of some big states so why not have our own music festival?
Throughout the spring, summer and fall you have coachella, Bonnaroo, Sasquatch, All points west festival etc. So why not have a big 2 or 3 day festival in Utah? It would bring money to the state and not to mention 3 days of good music and fun.

This would also add more to the state. We have Sundance film festival during the winter so why not have a big attraction towards the summer?
We have good weather during the summer and great locations where this could take place.

Now I know some of you say the LDS church wouldn't allow it, but lets keep it real... it would be good for business and the LDS church just like other religious institutions know how to do business and a this would be good for business.

If just one band can bring 40,000 people out of the woodwork in Salt Lake City, imagine what a festival would bring!

Well that's just my opinion, what's yours??

Thank you if you took the time to read this.
